The MATSITI Project Team is seeking expressions of interest from school authorities, school networks, Indigenous education and professional organisations  to establish collaborative workforce projects in the schooling sector.

Collaborative projects are sought that demonstrate clear benefits for the attraction, recruitment, retention and career development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teachers in Australian schools.

Funding of up to $50,000 per ‘Tier 2’ proposal is available –  successful projects will  be undertaken in 2014 and 2015 and will lead to lasting outcomes.

  • Degree of reform and innovation
  • Clear success measures of Project outcomes
  • Sharing of Project successes and challenges
  • Lasting benefit after completion of the Project
