#OurMobTeach 2015 is the premier event for the More Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Teachers Initiative (MATSITI).
The conference will bring together four years of project reforms and celebrate the diversity & successes of our mob and our teachers & leaders making a difference in Australian schools.
This national event is aimed at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teachers & leaders in schools, and those responsible for promoting teaching, training, recruitment and leadership development.
Forum themes will include:
- A celebration of culture & education: a deadly teaching & leadership journey
- Engagement and success in teacher education
- Successful transition from teacher education to employment
- Early career success in teaching & professional development
- Pathways from teaching to school leadership development
- Evidence-based research, policy and practices
- Future teacher workforce diversity, development and sustainability
